Cyclists can now plan their routes online through a a new website that includes maps of all the city’s bike lanes and paths.
The site — bikepedmemphis.wordpress.com — shows maps of current and future bike facilities, including lanes, shared sign roadways, shared use paths (such as the Shelby Farms Greenline), and even dirt trails and walking paths.
Additionally, the site contains tips on cycling safety and commuting, and it will serve as a clearinghouse for bike and pedestrian-related public meeting dates.

About an hour ago, Whole Foods posted this intriguing bit of news on its Facebook page:
We’re SUPER EXCITED to announce that leases have been signed for new stores in the following areas: Maple Grove, MN; Albany & Brooklyn, NY; Alpharetta & Savannah, GA; Memphis, TN; Toronto, Ontario and North Burnaby, British Columbia!!
YAY!
So, about that new Memphis store … “Technically, we’re expanding,” says Darrah Horgan, a spokesperson for Whole Foods.
As the Memphis Business Journal previously reported, the Whole Foods location in East Memphis will take over the Office Depot space.
But today’s announcement comes with more details about what the expansion will entail as well as a rough time frame.
Grammar Time

On our way to get a morning coffee fix, we ran into Heather from The American Institute of Architects in Memphis. She looked too adorable for us not to stop and ask about her outfit.

Her dress is from Hoot + Louise, which she paired with these t-strap shoes with triangle heels:

And styled with a bracelet by one of the artists at the National Ornamental Metal Museum:

Heather describes her style as “comfortable and classic.” Would that we all looked so good in the pursuit of comfort!
TTT Answer
The 2011-12 Memphis Tigers won both Conference USA’s regular season and tournament championships, making them the most accomplished team in three seasons under coach Josh Pastner. How many times did the Tigers win both a regular season and tournament title under coach Larry Finch?
The Tigers never pulled off this double during Finch’s tenure as coach (1986-97). They won the Metro tournament championship in 1987, the Great Midwest regular-season title in 1995, and tied for the C-USA regular-season championship in 1996.
