901 Tacos Expanding

901 Tacos, the Beale Street restaurant, is expanding into Midtown. But, you won’t be able to eat there.

That’s because owner Jeremiah Martin is testing out a new concept called Expodine.

In operating 901 Tacos, Martin noticed how delivery services such as UberEats and Bite Squad really upped his business. So, he’s opening a delivery-only restaurant. It will be four restaurants in one offering four different cuisines.

The restaurants are Bellissimo Cafe, KC BBQ, Touch of the South Cafe, and 901 Tacos.

“We try to make everything from scratch,” says Martin. Our tortillas are bought locally. We use local produce as much as possible. We 100 percent support local businesses. We are local.”

Customers will be able to order whatever they want from any of the restaurants, so if the kids want tacos and you want Southern comfort food, all appetites will be taken care of.

Martin says he will still use UberEats and Bite Squad, but will employ his own drivers. The delivery is until 2 a.m. on weekdays and 4 a.m. on weekends.

He hopes to be open in a few weeks.
