Lots of art openings tonight. They are at: Java Cabana for “25 Years Of Remembering,” Elvis-inspired work by John Fewkes; Lisa Kurts Gallery for “The Enduring Process,” sculpture by Jillian Banks; Perry Nicole Fine Art for “Petite Packages,” an exhibit by artists who work in small format; The Arcade Restaurant for an exhibit of paintings by Judy Woods with live music by Jack Cooper; and ArtFarm Gallery Of Fine Art for “Eight Days In Exile,” work from artists inspired by a retreat to Horn Island, Mississippi. Today kicks off the big Mid-South Living Home Show at Agricenter International; this year’s show includes a design seminar hosted by Joe Ruggiero of HGTV’s Homes Across America and The World Of Design. The North Mississippi Allstars, Lucero, and Burnside Exploration are playing an outdoor concert tonight in the Budweiser Pavilion in W.C. Handy Performing Arts Park on Beale Street. Faces With Shoes are at Patrick’s tonight and tomorrow night. There’s a MeDiA Co-op Benefit at Young Avenue Deli with Bella Sun, Dearest Darlin’, and Greg Cartwright. Swamp Katz are at Printer’s Alley. And, as always, The Chris Scott Band are at Poplar Lounge.
