When our City Council voted not to increase Mayor Herenton s salary, Fly on the Wall responded. Knowing how difficult it is to live on a paltry $140,000, we offered to take up a collection of toys and canned goods to assist the Herenton family during this holiday season. But it seems the council members have changed their minds and raised Herenton s salary to $160,000, forcing us to end our charitable drive. We will, however, be accepting cash donations through the New Year to help council members find a good therapist.
