It s that day everyone s been waiting for, the official celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Rock and Roll, with all sorts of things happening around town. I m there s much more detailed information in this special issue of the Flyer, but today s big bash is a 10 a.m.-Midnight Sun Studio 50th Anniversary Reunion Party on Marshall at Sun Studio, with performances by, among others, Scotty Moore, DJ Fontana, Sonny Burgess, Billy Lee Riley, David Brookings Band, Ace Cannon, Billy Bob Thorton, Billy Swan, and lots of others.
