Marathoner Justin Baker of Atlanta, Georgia, here finishing up at AutoZone Park, was one of the thousands who ran in nippy weather Saturday in one of three charity events on behalf of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital here: a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5 K. The marathon also served as a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon, to be held early next year.
Marathon winners this year were George Katonga of Kenya in the men’s division and Maria Cleose Portilla of Peru in the women’s division.
