Say it ain’t true!! No more $6 40-oz. beer? No more pole-dancing coeds? No more of that crazy-ass decor, that blue carpet, that “No Discrimination” sign, and that fabulous dance music? Memphis will never be the same!
But it IS true: After 32 years, owner Robert Raiford said he wanted to close Raiford’s Hollywood Disco while he still had his health. And he thanked everyone for all the memories.
Same to you, Robert. Thanks for the memories — even the ones we can’t remember. Raiford’s will be missed.
