For the Memphis Tigers, when it rains, it pours, even when it doesn’t rain.
The Tigers, playing a makeup game with Arkansas State in Jonesboro that was originally rained out on September 8th, appeared to be heading for a blowout win at halftime.
Leading 31-6, Memphis seemed to be in control, but then came the deluge, as ASU outscored the Tigers 29-0 in the second half.
The Tigers don’t have much time to lick their wounds, with a home game against Marshall scheduled for next Tuesday.
