David Chang’s Visit to the Mid-South

Super chef David Chang and Peter Meehan are touring to promote their new cookbook Momofuku, and they’re blogging about it for GQ.

Chang and Meehan were in Oxford Halloween weekend for an appearance at the Southern Foodways Alliance Symposium.

Here’s a taste of Chang’s first impressions of the Mid-South: “the flight got delayed for four hours… but it was all news to me: I pilled myself out, so I came to on the runway in Memphis. Who knew that Memphis was so close to Mississippi?”
