Memphis Animal Services will be closed to the public from Monday, January 11th through Thursday, January 14th as shelter employees are re-trained.
Dispatch for vicious dogs and other emergency animal services will still be available during the training period, however.
A city-issued press release says that Mayor A C Wharton is working on getting a new shelter administrator confirmed, and details of the appointment will be made available soon.
