New coronavirus cases in Shelby County rose by 90 from Saturday to Sunday as 1,435 tests were given. Saturday’s testing put the day’s positivity rate at around 6.2 percent. So far, a total of 40,396 coronavirus tests have been given here. No new deaths were recorded and the death toll remained at 67.
