I was at the newly expanded Kroger on Mendenhall today, and after looking high and low for a can of coconut milk, I was feeling much like this cake:
This sad puppy cake was on shelving labeled “Oops.” It was going for $2.49.
What I can’t determine is the proper occasion for this cake. Bringing it to a funeral would seem tacky. Perhaps one of those Memphis City Schools/Shelby County Schools debates? A baby shower for a Frayser High student?
So, you tell me. Put your ideas in the comments. The winner will receive an avocado slicer. Just kidding, you’ll (probably) get something better. Unless you want that slicer, then I can hook you up.
