This one was difficult. I provided clues via Twitter but to no avail.
A couple people got one of the restaurants, but I was looking for two out of three to declare a winner. So, for the first time in this contest’s history, there is no winner.
The answer:
#1 E’s 24 Hour Cafe
#2 Slider Inn
#3 Arepa & Salsa
One clue “2 wheels” is a hint for Slider Inn and its motorcycle, bike theme. Another, “Mel,” was admittedly obscure and referred to E’s being a diner, i.e., Mel’s Diner.
