Wanna work at Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid?
The outdoor retailer is looking to fill 600 full-time and part-time positions ahead of its May 1 opening.
If you want to be one of the 600, get yourself down to the Cook Convention Center between Monday, Feb 2 and Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. That’s when Bass Pro will host a jobs fair in the south exhibit hall.
Bass Pro is looking for “hard-working, dedicated and enthusiastic” employees to work in these departments: fishing, camping, hunting, archery, footwear, apparel/gifts, marine accessories, receiving and customer service. The company is also looking for cashiers, greeters, stockers, marine technicians, boat riggers, boat detailers, and boat sales consultants.
Bass Pro is also looking to staff two full-services restaurants and has positions open for servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers, bartenders, dishwashers, line cooks, and prep staff.
Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill will also hire bowling technicians.
There’s going to be a hotel in there, too, and the Big Cypress Lodge has positions open for concierge, houseman, front desk, night audit, bell service, massage therapist, esthetician, and valet attendants.
Bass Pro promises “excellent wage potential,” flexible schedules, holiday and vacation pay, health insurance for eligible employees, and store discounts.
