So now comes more of the fruits of all that moolah raised by District 5 Council candidate Worth Morgan. This time it’s video — two TV commercials that, the candidate says, will start running on Tuesday, August 25.
One is a simple self-introduction, in which young Morgan (still an unknown to the general public ,for all the proliferating yard signs) looks clean, decent, and possessed of a stylish handshake and a good smile. Not much more than that, but there are worse ways to introduce oneself. And worse images.
The other commercial focuses on crime (which Morgan, in his earnest but pleasant voice, deplores but doesn’t go into detail about) and employs much the sane imagery as the self-introductory spot. Again, not much is said, but you are meant mainly to be teased into curiosity by these early images.
One gets the sense that more will be coming — many more. And presumably some of these will go into more revealing detail.
