Rick Trotter, the former Memphis Grizzlies announcer, was indicted Thursday on four counts of unlawfully photographing women under their skirts at a church where he was a worship leader, said Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich.

Officials with The Downtown Church filed a complaint with the Memphis Police Department (MPD) against Trotter in May of 2016.

Church officials said Trotter used his church-issued cell phone to take videos under a woman’s skirt as he kneeled behind her during a church service. On Trotter’s church-issued laptop, MPD investigators found other up-skirt videos he had made of other female church members.

The victims, whose ages ranged from 29 to 63, identified themselves on the videos by their clothing, voices, and surroundings. Trotter admitted his guilt to church officials and police.

Each of the four counts for which Trotter is charged comes with up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and fines of $2,500.

Trotter is free on bond.
