When Food News writer Pam Denney and I stopped by the newly opened Local Gastropub on Tuesday afternoon, we found both the owner and the manager to be completely in the dark.
Construction in the area had shut off power and owner Jeffrey Johnson was on the phone with MLGW, while manager Chris Armes did some work on her laptop.
Despite the lack of electricity, Johnson and Ames took the time to tell us a little bit about Local, which opened last Friday in the Sauces site on Main downtown.
