The first print issue of Bushi Tales, a locally produced comic, will hit stands across the country on August 29th.
Issue #1 “The Last Titan” has been available in Memphis and Phoenix, Arizona for over a year, but this marks it nationwide release. The independently published comic illustrates the tale of four female samurai on a quest for Hachiman, the Japanese god of war, to protect their world from evil.
Lin Workman, the comic’s graphic artist, resides in Memphis. David Beaty handles inking and coloring from his home in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
