Okay, maybe there’s no catfight, but you can share tea and crumpets with Dynasty’s “Alexis” — Joan Collins. And Linda Evans will be in town at the same time, so… who knows?
The Peabody will host an “Afternoon Tea with Joan Collins,” a special event on Wednesday, April 18th at 2 p.m. in Chez Philippe. The former Dynasty diva will also hold a private book signing for The Art of Living Well: Looking Good, Feeling Great, a beauty and inspiration book published in October 2006. It’s the latest in her series of 13 best-selling books. Copies will be available for $25 per copy.
Collins will be in Memphis performing in LEGENDS! at The Orpheum Theatre, April 17 – 27. A classic catfight comedy, the play also features Collins’ fellow Dynasty star Linda Evans. The two played glamorous rivals Alexis and Krystie Carrington on the ’80s nighttime soap opera.
