New coronavirus cases in Shelby County rose by 72 from Thursday to Friday as 1,467 tests were given. Wednesday’s testing put the day’s positivity rate at around 4.9 percent.
So far, a total of 38,345 coronavirus tests have been given here. The death toll rose by two to 66.
