COVID-19 Cases Rise by 72, 719 Tests Given, Four New Deaths

Coronavirus cases in Shelby County rose by 72 from Monday to Tuesday morning. The Shelby County Health Department said there have now been 2,922 cases of the virus here. Clinics across the county administered 719 tests Monday, putting the day’s positivity rate at around 10 percent. So far, a total of 34,615 coronavirus tests have been given here. The death toll rose to 57.
