It’s so unfair. Our new favorite show (though we’ve never seen it) is the UK’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, which, sadly, doesn’t air in the U.S. yet. But it seems Memphis mock-celebrity David Gest is ticking everybody off with his prima-David antics.
To wit: He has banned fellow celebs from asking questions about Liza Minnelli. He has refused to take part in Bushtucker Trials (gasp) despite 11th-hour appeals from show bosses. He has demanded a personal assistant be allowed on set to make his bed, and insists he won’t take off his sunglasses in the jungle.
This so wrong on many levels, people. I mean, opting out of the Bushtucker Trials! Fellow contestant Mylene Klass had this to say about that: “I’m happy to chow down a kangaroo willy for the show,” she vowed. “I can always imagine it’s an ex-boyfriend, can’t I?”
