Dick Wagner at Martin Music Tuesday

Dick Wagner has 35 gold and platinum records. That’s the real deal. You can hear him recount war stories and play his hits on the fine instruments they sell over at Martin Music on Tuesday, April 8th. Who hasn’t this guy played with? Alice Cooper? Check. Lou Reed? Check.  Etta James. Yep. Orbison? You get the picture. But wait! There’s more: Wagner recorded a song for St. Jude featuring a phalanx of L.A. session honchos and recorded at Sunset Sound in L.A., one of the coolest recording studios not in Memphis.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and is free as hell. But you had better sign up early: seating is limited.
