Elliot Williams Named All-CUSA

Sophomore guard Elliot Williams has been named first-team all-conference in voting by Conference USA head coaches and media representatives. He’s one of five guards to earn first-team honors, and the only underclassman. This is the fifth consecutive year a Tiger has been named first-team All-CUSA. Williams has started all 31 games in his first season after transferring from Duke, averaging a team-high 18.6 points per game, second in C-USA.

Fellow sophomore Wesley Witherspoon earned third-team honors after averaging 12.7 points per game (an improvement from 4.0 his freshman season).
