Margot Kidder, who is touring in Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues, recently told the Calgary Herald, “I went on TV in Memphis, where we were picketed….They read a letter from one woman who said, ‘Satan has arrived in our community.’ Satan doesn’t live in my vagina — maybe God, but not Satan.” We can only imagine that, upon being asked to verify Kidder’s claim of divine occupaton, the pope would respond, “Not even with your staff, buddy, not even with yours.”
