A cable fire in an underground vault close to the Westin Hotel darkened the south end of Downtown Memphis Wednesday morning. But Memphis Light Gas & Water said they were on it.
Downtown businesses quickly began tweeting their plans for the morning, including The Peabody.
The DoubleTree marveled at the what the darkness illuminated.
But MLGW turned the lights back on.
And everyone rejoiced.
