These situations always begin innocently enough when you invite a few family members over for a nice evening, but one thing leads to another, and next thing you know, you’re in the yard posting a sign apologizing for “the unwarranted & disgusting display.”
News is Scary
According to a report by Fox-13, “Friday the 13th keeps some inside.” In the station’s Onion News Network-like report, which began with a scene from Friday the 13th, Montrell Britton, a “regular happy-go-lucky” Memphian who likes jookin’ and “loves hanging out, especially on a Friday,” was quoted as saying that he prefers to stay indoors on Friday the 13th because he might be kidnapped.

Your Pesky Fly gets lots of unusual press releases, but few are as intriguing as this one from Dalina, a Romanian artist who took the time to include the personal note that said, “Hi there, any interest?” Dalina was inspired by the music of Michael Jackson and by the “nightly meetings she had with him in her dreams.” She even “felt moved” to write Twilight, a book about her experiences after Jackson’s death. A chance to interview the author of Twilight? Who wouldn’t be interested?
