Today kicks off this weekend’s 9th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival at Douglass Park. This evening’s Sudsfest bash in Overton Square, a fund-raiser for the Memphis Arts Festival, features more than 100 beers, unlimited beer-sampling, a souvenir sampling glass, and food from Overton Square restaurants and other local eateries. Down in Tunica, The Temptations are at the Grand Casino, while Styx plays at the Horseshoe. And here in town, as always, The Chris Scott Band at the Poplar Lounge.
