The Grizzlies will play the Hawks in the preseason, just like they always play the Hawks in the preseason.
This morning, the Grizzlies announced their 2015 preseason schedule.
As usual, they’ll be playing a foreign team—this time another matchup with Maccabi Haifa of Israel—and they’ll also be making a sojourn to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on the campus of Mike Conley’s alma mater The—or shall we say The—Ohio State University.
Here’s the full schedule:
- Tuesday, 10/6: vs. Houston
- Thursday, 10/8: vs. Maccabi Haifa
- Monday, 10/12: @ Cleveland in Columbus, OH
- Friday, 10/16: vs. Oklahoma City
- Sunday, 10/18: vs. Minnesota
- Wednesday, 10/21: @ Atlanta
- Friday, 10/23: @ Orlando
Four home games, the prerequisite Memphis/Atlanta preseason game (in Atlanta this year instead of Memphis), and a random game in Columbus.
Crazy to think that basketball is actually going to happen again, and soon.
