After a year and half battle with leukemia, noted Memphis radio personality John “Bad Dog” McCormack passed away Thursday afternoon. McCormack worked at WEGR-FM for the past 22 years. He won the Flyer‘s “Best of Memphis” radio personality numerous times and was noted for raising millions of dollars for St. Jude and for the Ronald McDonald Childrens’ House. McCormack was 55.
