(Justin Timberlake is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend — the third time he has done so. In anticipation, Sing All Kinds is looking back on his memorable past SNL performances.)
Today we’re featuring another cameo from Timberlake from this year, this time during the March show that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosted. Though tomorrow’s episode will only be the third time he’s hosted, JT has proven to be a relatively regular guest on the show. It even led New York magazine to call for a moratorium on cameos by Justin (and Cameron Diaz, Timberlake’s former GF — a coincidence?).
Personally, I see Timberlake appearing on SNL on a regular basis for years, à la Christopher Walken, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, etc. He’s his generation’s Paul Simon.
Here’s another collab between Andy Samberg and JT, this time portraying comic-strip neurotic Cathy and husband Irving, respectively. Justin’s main squeeze Jessica Biel puts in an appearance, too. Take that Cameron Diaz!
