Chris Douglas-Roberts had 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists to guide the University of Memphis to an easy 111-69 victory over Jackson State at FedExForum last night.
Jeremy Hunt donated 16 points and Doneal Mack scored 14 for the Tigers (1-0), who finally got their regular season underway.
Six players in all scored in double figures for Memphis, including Robert Dozier, who posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
