Looking for a way to give back this holiday season but lack the extra funds to give? The Memphis Gay & Lesbian Community Center could use a few more volunteers.
There’s a volunteer orientation tonight (December 13th) from 6 to 7 p.m. at 892 S. Cooper. Potential volunteers will learn the history of the city’s gay community center, the impact of its programs and services, and what volunteer opportunities are available.
