Today’s Music Video Monday’s got hometown pride.
Cory Taylor Cox is currently living in Nashville, but his heart is still in the Bluff City. “‘Memphis Kids’ was written by myself and fellow musician/Memphian Joseph Barrios, we set each verse as a layer of the Memphis music scene, from suburbs, to Midtown, to the historical significance of Memphis music.” In this video, Cox and his band bring his hometown anthem to a crowd at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge.
