This week’s Music Video Monday is a perfect storm of Memphis talent.
Marcella René Simien has been tearing up Memphis stages since she relocated here from Louisiana. For her new single “We Rewind”, she got acclaimed film collective Corduroy Wednesday to create the video. Benjamin Rednour, Erik Morrison, and director Edward Valibus shot this piece in the stately Victorian digs of Molly Fontaine’s. Marcella’s performance is stellar, but it’s the cameo by yours truly that really makes it!
