Bartholomew Jones likes his coffee black — we mean really Black. His company Cxffeeblack is trying to de-gentrify the Memphis coffee scene by connecting directly with African producers, as documented in the film Cxffeeblack to Africa, which played Indie Memphis 2022.
But when he’s not sipping that black gold, he’s making music. “Shade” features some soul-bearing lyrics from Jones over production by HD3. The video created by 2020 Sheep Productions includes lots of lens flare and some heartstring-tugging images of the Jones children. Get groovy with your coffee!
