NEW SKOOL

Teachers think classes should begin later in the day so that tired students can sleep a little longer, but District Attorney Bill Gibbons has other reasons for the schedule change. Gibbons has noted that juvenile crime peaks when schools let out shortly after 2 p.m. and claims that adjusting the schedule by even one hour should make a difference. Clearly this would allow local cops to get an extra hour of sleep.
