Rock-and-roll royalty greets a city that’s produced more than its share when Beatles co-founder Paul McCartney takes the FedExForum stage this weekend. The 70-year-old icon has had a surprisingly fertile last decade, kicked off by his fine, 1999 back-to-basics album Run, Devil, Run. Since then, McCartney has released multiple studio albums, multiple live albums, a ballet, a standards album, presided over a massive reissue campaign, and toured the world. On his current “Out There” tour, McCartney has been delivering three-hour shows that draw from all eras of his 50-year discography — solo material, his ’70s band, Wings, and, of course, Beatles chestnuts. Paul McCartney plays FedExForum on Sunday, May 26th. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets start at $57.50. — Chris Herrington
