R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

A recent story in The Commercial Aoppeal focused on Oliver Watson, a police officer at Memhis International Airport. The article claims that some people thought Officer Watson had a pretty cushy job until the events of September 11th. Now, of course, those people know otherwise. Concerning the quality of airport-security employees, Watson was quoted as saying, “You get what you pay for. If you get someone who gets paid what they’d get at McDonald’s, what do you think you are going to get?” We’re guessing McAnthrax?

Pointing out an airport garbage can, Walton told the CA. “It’s custom-made to set a bomb off in,” which just sounds like really bad planning on the airport’s behalf.”
