Road Project Promises ‘Significant Impacts to Traffic’ for Months

State officials will be in Memphis Thursday to announce a $54.1 million road repair project that “will have significant impacts to traffic over the next several months.”

Details are scant on the project. However, a news release from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said the “MemFix 4” project includes the “replacement and rehabilitation of four bridges along the I-240 corridor.”

TDOT Commissioner John Schroer, TDOT chief engineer Paul Degges, and Shelby County Mayo Mark Luttrell will be on hand for the announced slated for Thursday at 11 a.m.
