Sara Roy’s job requires “dress casual.” When we met her, she had just come from work and was wearing a white camisole, tan slacks, and for a burst of pattern, a scarf belt.
“I like the scarf belt because it allows me to still have some style and femininity with the standard tan slacks,” she says.
Her pants are a cotton, no-wrinkle blend that flare slightly at the bottom and have a nice, wide cuff. But it’s the shoes — from Sears, and with little rhinestones — and scarf that give the whole thing a kicky vibe.
