More than a day early, Memphis police — augmented, no doubt, by the Secret Service — were stationed at approaches to the Midtown residence of entrepreneur Brad Martin, who will play host to President Bush for a Monday afternoon fund-raiser on behalf of Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander.
Alexander will also appear at East High School earlier Monday morning.
