WKNO-TV and the Tennessee Shakespeare are joining forces for a project to coincide with “Shakespeare Uncovered,” a series of six celebrity-hosted films telling the stories behind the stories of Shakespeare’s plays. In addition to special screenings and workshops WKNO and TSC, with help from a national grant from WNET, will also make special Shakespeare-centric content for radio and television.
Shakespeare Uncovered, with Ethan Hawke, Jeremy Irons, Derek Jacobi, Trevor Nunn, Joely Richardson, and David Tennant , launches January 25 at 8:00 p.m. on WKNO 2.
