Okay, it s St. Patrick s Day and there are parties all over town and I don t have the time to go into all of them. One natural place to start would be Dan McGuinness Pub s Fleadh Ceol St. Patrick s Day Festival, which starts in Peabody Place at noon with clowns, leprechauns, balloons, face painting, Irish dancing, and lots of live music by the Wolf River Pipe & Drum Corp, Cooley s House, the Bouffants, The Sallymacs, and others. In the Pinch, there s an all-day festival at T.J. Mulligan s with Rick McKean, Carson & Poole, Parallel Parker, Entourage, Celtic bagpipers, and Gabby Johnson. Just around the corner the High Point Pinch and North End 11th Annual St. Patrick s Day Celebration is an outdoor, all-day party with 15 live bands. There are St. Patrick s Day festivities in Overton Square. And the 4 Heads are at Kudzu s, where there will be other Celtic music as well. In the midst of all this, The Grizzlies take on New Jersey this afternoon.
