Tuscany Italian Eatery Opening Downtown

Tuscany Italian Eatery is opening in a couple weeks at 116 Front across the street from the AutoZone headquarters.

The restaurant was originally in Olive Branch, but a fire shut it down in January.

“Downtown is booming,” says Jeremy Martin about the move. “It needs more places like this.”

Martin co-owns the restaurant with Debbie Houck.

The restaurant specializes in from-scratch Italian fare. Tuscany’s lasagne, says Martin, is “out of this world” and includes four cheeses, meatballs, and sausage. And the Italian beef sandwich is “ridiculous” with tender shredded beef.

The restaurant will serve paninis, wraps, pastas, desserts, soups, and more.

The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Delivery will be available.

A second restaurant will open in the Bankruptcy Building at 200 Jefferson in mid-July. This restaurant will serve breakfast and will be open 6 a.m.-2 p.m.

Says Martin, “We say we have no customers. Everyone is family.”
