A 35-year-old man has been indicted on two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of two men outside of the Memphis Gentlemen’s Motorcycle Club.

On April 25th, Robert Taylor was reportedly involved in a fight that took place at the North Memphis nightspot. After being expelled from the premises, he returned with a gun and opened fire, according to the Shelby County District Attorney General’s office.

Eric Whitaker, 52, and Jonathan Triplett, 26, both patrons at the club and motorcyclists, were struck during the shooting.

Whitaker was pronounced dead at the scene. Tripplet was taken in critical condition to Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Taylor is being held without bond in the Shelby County Jail.
