The Flow: Live-Streamed Music Events This Week, December 3-9

Bethany Reid Visuals

Bailey Bigger

As we delve into the darkest days of the year, things are lighting up online, with the first holiday live-streamed events. Sitting by the cozy glow of live music on your screen with a beverage and sheltered-in-place loved one … what could be better? Tune in to the many choices below, and don’t forget to give a little something to the players who fill your days and nights with song.

REMINDER: The Memphis Flyer supports social distancing in these uncertain times. Please live-stream responsibly. We remind all players that even a small gathering could recklessly spread the coronavirus and endanger others. If you must gather as a band, please keep all players six feet apart, preferably outside, and remind viewers to do the same.

The Flow: Live-Streamed Music Events This Week, September 17-23

Amber Rae Dunn

As stalwart troubadours carry on their weekly live-stream events, other faces familiar and not-so-familiar are making appearances this week only. Mark Edgar Stuart is back in the saddle, and we even have a native daughter of the city, Caroline Fourmy, who returned here from New Orleans when the pandemic hit. Dial them up on your satellite feed with your preferred device, and help them all out by tossing a few virtual coins in the tip jar.

The Flow: Live-Streamed Music Events This Week, July 9-15

Dan Ball

Lucero at Sam Phillips Recording

While live-streamed shows are tapering off a bit, look to the artists below for an indication of how we keep music flowing, even as the first wave of COVID-19 grows. We predict a resurgence of live-streamed shows in the near future! This week even features that rarest of birds, a touring band (Portland, Oregon’s Symptoms) passing through Memphis and live-streaming from one of our favorite dives, the Lamplighter Lounge. Hometown favorites Lucero also make an appearance this week.
