THANK YOU, DR. DOOLITTLE

Todd Vinyard, the CA‘s outdoors editor, recently provided Memphis hunters with some invaluable information concerning the language of deer. Quoting Kevin Small of KT”s Trophy Store in Rutledge, Missouri, Vinyard writes, “You wouldn’t say hello to someone at work by yelling FIRE! at them and neither would a deer.” In fact, deer often greet their co-workers by yelling “FIRE!” or by shouting even more inappropriate things like “BUTT!” and “MONKEY!” or sometimes “BUTT MONKEY!” Which explains many of our more reputable businesses’ standing policy against hiring the outspoken animals.
