The U.S. is Neither Red nor Blue

This detailed map of the voting patterns in the U.S. in the recent presidential election is fascinating. And it starkly reveals the myth of “red states and blue states.”

What we see instead is that is a purplish melange, dictated not by state borders, but by whether we are urban or rural, black, brown, Asian, native American, or white.

Which color do you think is spreading? Which is receding? If I were the head of the RNC, I’d be worried.
