Despite hitting only 2 of 19 three-point attempts, the 13th-ranked Memphis Tigers beat UMass Monday night at FedExForum, 80-58.
The Tigers were led in scoring by freshman guard Tyreke Evans, who had 19 points. But it was a pair of Tiger veterans who provided much of the spark. Antonio Anderson had 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Robert Dozier scored 18 points.
Coach John Calipari became the winningest coach in U of M history with his 221st victory at the Tiger helm.
